Bellizia is a punkgrass, clown car,  jugernaut.  

They are a power trio led by the electric banjo of Jhon Bellizia (aka Sir Jhon), propelled by the heavy metal, double kick drumming of Timothy Todd Cook, and bedazzled by the prog-rock wizardry of bassist Jayson Tomlin.

The music of Bellizia is based on the individualized song writing of Jhon Bellizia, as well as the utilization of the electric banjo with sound effects.  As a multi-instrumentalist he  brings an electric guitar feel to the banjo, creating a style somewhere between Scruggs and Hendrix.   The spotlight is shared with Jayson Tomlin's melodic, prog influenced, bass lines. Timothy Todd Cook completes the instrumentation with heavy metal, double kick, style drumming.   Vocals with harmonies add the icing on this cake.   The result cannot be pigeonholed into a specific genre yet it is familiar and captivating.

Bellizia’s live show leaves people with jaws agape, saying things like “I’ve never heard a banjo sound like that” and  “I cant believe only 3 people create all that sound”!

The band is working on their debut album, and currently have  a few demo tracks on the streaming services, along with live show videos on Youtube.
